The hotel's location is stunning, with views of the mountains that truly enhance the experience. My room was spacious and clean, complete with a kitchenette, making it convenient for leisurely breakfasts. Speaking of which, the continental breakfast offered was plentiful and good value, perfect for fueling up before a day of exploring. The indoor swimming pool was an added bonus, and a nice way to unwind after hiking in the breathtaking surroundings. Although there's no on-site restaurant, several eateries are a short drive away in Samoens, and the village offers dining options as well. One hiccup was with my booking; I experienced an unexpected cancellation fee despite assurances otherwise. Their service was generally amiable and accommodating, especially when I arrived late, but communication could improve. Vacanceole serves as a comfortable base for adventurers and history enthusiasts alike, balancing a wealth of amenities against reasonable costs. While there are aspects to refine, it provides a solid choice for those looking to enjoy Greece's natural beauty without breaking the bank.
